new offcial 1/4 mi. time though I thought I do better!

Ok here is my previous best time

60'..........2.394
330.........6.630
1/8..........10.179
MPH.........69.44
1000........13.255
1/4...........15.875
MPH..........85.44

This was done in hot weather sweltering hot weather I was running consitent 16.2's and .3 's

MY new best time in cooler weather has on sunday low 80's maybe high 70's great weather

60'..........2.351
330.........6.543
1/8..........10.084
MPH.........69.61
1000........13.159
1/4...........15.794
MPH..........85.10

I shifted into 4th on that run too though I wish I did'nt it might have been alittle better. This run was also made after switching to my CAI. I was runing consitently a few tenths better than the last time in hot weather. I got 15.8's to 16.1's the 15.7 was the best.

The best part of the night was when I beat a rich boy in his S2000 yeah that right I said S2000 the honda hahahaha it was great! though he did beat me other times he could'nt drive worth a crap aparently that car should have been in the 14's I beat hime with a 16.0 flat and he ran a 16.1

This time my friends who went brought his Dodge Dokota R/t and ran high 14's and low 15's traction was a big problem with it. When we raced togather I beat him almost to the end of the track and then he would get me in the last 20 to 30' it was close. I could keep up with him alot better than his New mustang GT he brought last time.

I was hopeing to run a 15.5 but traction was a problem. There were a crap load of EVO's there and a Skyline there too. Ok I'm tired I been awake all night at work I have to go to sleep now. Ask ?'s everybody I'm sure I'm forgetting something. I really need to install my cam gears.

Let me know what ya'll think My previuos best of 15.8 was the only run I made into the 15's but this time I was running 15's almost everytime though I did'nt get to run has much has I did last time I went so I'm sure I coul'd of bettered it with a little more control on take off.

Yeah sorry about that you know how slow this site's been getting sometimes right?

Has for the time I was hopeing for a little better heck I would've been real proud to have a 15.6 but its all in the launch which I guess needs a little practice but I was beating alot of peeps off the line and out of the hole. But then they would pass me up. I think I was the slowest car out there. There was a doge truck running 13's and it was a desiel! but Hopefully when the cam gears get put on the will help with the top end speed I need.

how come you are putting up those numbers with pretty much the same mods as me and i can't maybe it has something to do with the elevation and the fact that my acceleration under 3500 sucks balls. does anybody know how i can find out the elevation where i run?

I had alot of practice. I would launch at 4500 rpm the first time to the track. This time I launched at 4000 rpm to 3800 rpm and I lowered the tires down to about 25 psi and then 20 psi whiched helped out. The first run I made was nothing but wheel spin I did'nt even move much off the line. Just practice your launch try slipping the clutch more maybe. It helped alot for me. So far the CF clutch has held up wonderfully. Though I wish I had enough money to have had a lighter flywheel when replacing all that stuff. ( I put the clutch in when swapping the motors out). But its definatly your 60' time could be better. MY best was 2.2-- somthin though that run was one of the slower though I don't know why.

more post please let me know what ya'll think and if any way to make it better?

also I don't have a cat I have the 4-2-1 OBX headers. That might make for a tenth or two.

You could be mid 15s easily if you could get that 60ft to a 2.1. Maybe remove a little ballast and work on keeping the wheelspin away and it would help.

Yeah my friends were telling me had had massive amounts of wheel spin. I did have a 2.2-- somthing 60' but that was just once and the time was'nt good.
