Make it four. I touched a curb when pulling into a parking spot. The check engine light came on. I just know that the rear sensor is broken yet again.

This situation sucks. Each sensor costs more than $100 at the dealer. Time to install a cheater.

So, does anyone know the resistance these should be at a specific temp ?
It would be cool to be able to check them after replacement. I'm throwing both O2s and a knock sensor but harness seems to be okay. Still runs great but a little rough on fuel...oh wait that's the twin screw :-)

60,000 miles ,have not replaced any. But I do get an erratic code for slow test of the front one every so often, lights on a couple days and goes out for awhile.

I had to replace front and rear sensors not even 10k miles ago and the CEL is on again for the front one going bad again... this will be the last time I deal with it on this car as I'm selling it now.

Does anybody know where to get the catalytic converter with the o2 sensor bungs moved to avoid this problem from happening over and over again? I had a link to it before, but cant find it anymore.

my motor mounts were bad so the front would hit the oil pan and break open so maybe check that.

We have simply awful potholes here in the NYC area, especially in the Spring. When the car bottoms out, the exhaust header takes a hit and gets displaced rearward a bit. I've replaced the header once.

The rear O2 sensor is now very, very close to the axle, making it difficult to remove & replace. And when the car bottoms out in a pothole, the axle hits the sensor body, eventually breaking it.

I've given up replacing them, except when the car needs to be inspected. When I replace it, I'm lucky if it lasts two months. This last one was replaced in June, and was broken last week (around 6 weeks later).
