boost on auto tranny

Im thinking running either a supercharger or turbo. prolly super seams easier to tune ad maintain. Just wondering if i can run one on an automatic tranny or if i need to add a tranny cooler or something along those lines. btw i have a 2001 s2 with about 47k miles on her.

I know on the 5/6 speed, you have to upgrade the does it work for auto? Does the torque converter hold? Does it slip? Im going to boost wifeys Mazda3 Auto, but the trans issue concerned me..

im pretty sure the atx powerworks kit was tuned specifically for the power that it can handle, i dnt think there is another kit that works like that, but anything more will put too much stress on the atx...a tranny cooler and valve body are the first things to get and would probably surfice for a powerworks+bbk kit
