Yeah you can take them off real easy. I bake one at a time around 250 degrees for 7-8 minutes. Then just pull them apart, but might take some muscle and it helps to have someone else with a screwdriver to help pry.

Nice before/after. I've used the Permatex kit and the 3M kit. I wish I had borrowed my dad's drill and just used the 3M the first time. Follow up with Meguiars' Plast-X on a foam pad every so often and you're in business.

I have done this several times to no avail as it continues to haze. Is there a secret or trick I am missing to stop the perpetual hazing?

Do you follow up with a good polish every so often (say once a month) after the restoration is performed? That step is a "must" to keep the lenses in good shape.

you shouldnt polish things very often, polish is an abrasive thing and it eats the plastic, if you polish the plastic too often it will just fail and will need new headlights

After the lenses are polished you need to put a sealant on them to keep them from oxidizing. UV rays are causing the oxidation.
