There are many, highly reputable companies that sell these multi-drilled wheels. Its cost effective and for the extra material removes from the wheel is not overly detrimental to the durability and safety of the wheel. The BBS replicas you posted were obviously not multi-drilled by the manufacturer and look dangerous. I would agree those are shit. That being said those wheels cannot be compared to the wheels that Ryan has posted.

Those were done by some crack head in their garage by the uneven nature of the bolt holes.

Now the concentric bolt holes where they are properly manufactured wouldn't be as great a risk as that schlock

They're drilled this way because there were only 8-10 sets of these in the world ever taken off the line and drilled out to a 4x108 as opposed to the original 4x100. Look shit up before making an idiotic claim and posting a wheel that looks completely different and unprofessional

You misread what I said. I said the ones I posted were the garbage that would scare the crap out of me, not the ones done properly. I can understand the reasons why the factory ones have multiple bolt patterns, and if those wheels were what someone wants then that's fine. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy those, but to each his or her own. I don't mean any disrespect.

The wheels are on the car. If anything it rides better so far, although I've only put maybe 5-10 miles on them so far.

suss, those wheels you got look like shit. all the ford wheels that are black windows and machined faces look like complete ass. im sorry, but they all look HORRIBLE. I don't understand people that buy a second set of FACTORY wheels for their car? You could have gotten much nicer looking wheels for what im assuming you paid. But like they said your car, so whatever.

as for those BBS wheels you posted, those have a center cap that covers the whole hub area. do some research.

The wheels ryan got, ive only seen 3 sets of those wheels in 4x108, two personally, and another that i know of.

you should really search for "google.com" , its a nifty search engine that can help you find information on things, before you make such claims.

I don't need to be told how to use google.

Putting a center cap over the lugs won't repare the drilled holes that are too close to the other holes leaving to little material between them.

That is the unacceptable bit, ones with an even spacing between holes and sufficient material between them would be fine, even though I don't care for them.

I also don't give a crap if you don't like the wheels. As long as I like them then that's all that matters to me.

There were no acceptable aftermarket wheels available for anywhere near the cost of this package so I'm not sure what planet you live on.

The cheapest aftermarket wheels I would have even remotely considered would have cost close to twice as much after adding in the cost of a set of brand new tires and the tire pressure monitor sensors.

I would have preferred the gunmetal or polished aluminum appearance to these wheels, but they look really nice and flow well with the car to me, and that's all that matters. I don't modify the car for other people.
