I think it'll be the next E30. I hope you prove me wrong.

plus there's turbo'ing the G and all the other car plans you want to do. but again i hope you prove me wrong.
Yes he wanted the E30 AWD manual like nobody's business. Next will be something else that he wants like nobody's business.

But since I'm single and don't have a kid I'm taking advantage of my freedoms with money while I can.

Why rent again, you have nothing when the rent is over. Just like leasing a car. You have nothing when the lease is up and have to start over.
This really pains me but Jordan has a point. Me being with lady friend has absolutely no bearing on my intentions for a house. At all. A year and a half ago I had $15,000 ready to get into a house. But being young as eff and stupid, this guy bought 2 cars instead. I don't regret either of those cars but you bet your sweet buttcheeks I regret not doing the house instead. I'm not giving you a hard time, I'm just saying think about it as a friend

ONLY reason I unloaded the bmw is the fact that it was old and had high maintenance costs (using the PO's receipt log as proof). If it wouldn't cost so much on up keep I would still be rocking it.

And the R won't be more expensive for R parts, than the current Jetta is?

I did the opposite of you Ryan. I passed on buying a 300hp powerworks zetec sedan that needed a new motor and bought a house, as a single person.

Trying to establish myself as a person, finances, address, bills, etc was a priority in my life. Ive got years to find cool shit to buy. But having a place to call mine is worth it. Dont have to be quiet coming home from work, the bar, trivia, etc. place to work on shit, light stuff on fire, shoot my .22 at a laptop, etc.

All worth it!

I understand you think your trying to help me with my own money.. and I appreciate it.. but seriously why do you care what I do?

do what you gotta/wanna to be happy Delabs.

only reason i'm giving you a little hell is to help you really think through everything. sometimes i go "if only i had" and then i keep thinking and go "naw i'd totally buy like 8 more things"

do what you want, be happy, live your life, etc.
