hey, if i'm going to make my fuel spontaneously combust i need to get it REALLY hot.

I love how most of the new fuel saving techniques being used in gas engines are adaptations of things that diesels have either always done or been doing for years.

direct injection and undersizing with a turbo being the most prime exaples.
