The ST replica wing looks exactly like the one you would find on the 2013 Focus ST. No one else has one painted this color that I know of. It totally transforms the look of the rear of the vehicle or so I've been told.

I've been around awhile now, mostly lurking in here, but mostly active in the MK3 community. I've been a part of the only MK3 owners club since close to the very beginning of it. We've been pushing the envelope so far, but without tuning there is only so much that can be gained out of installing an intake and or exhaust system on the car.

I have an engineering degree, and am about to start my first real engineering job after spending over a year doing design work after graduating.

I guess I haven't spent that much time in this little section yet.

I guess everyone's a critic sometimes, I happen to like the color, and it fit with the theming I had in mind from the outset.


My old car was a bit more teal colored.

Not an actual picture of my car, but of another similar one to show the color.

It was also unique, I see a sea of grey, silver, black, and white Foci of this generation. Sterling Grey alone was at or over 20% or 1 in 5 cars built and sold, where as out of all the 2012 models built since 2011 there were fewer than 7000 hatchbacks painted in Frosted Glass.

Don't get me wrong I liked the Grey, Silver, and Kona Blue paint colors as well, however when I went to order my car Kona blue was no longer available and my brother has a Sterling Grey MK3 equipped almost identically to mine minus me having the better head restraints, tint, and now the ST spoiler.

I happen to also be a big fan of Futurama so to continue the theme the color makes a fairly good blend towards making the car look like a rocket ship. Hence the PLAN EX 2 replica european plate (Plan EX being the company's stock ticker, and 2 for this being the second generation of vehicle to be themed as such). Yes I know that makes me a bit of a nerd, what are you going to do about it?

Andrei, go fast parts, not pedals. Those look awful slippery when rain or snow.
