^ My buddy has a WR450F with a 17 inch wheel kit. Pretty fun, still not THAT fast tho, I think a street bike is better on the street. Is bike is solid tho, has dirt wheels and super moto wheels, so he can ride trails and street. That's pretty cool.

Unless its going on a sonic or an older Aveo then that doesn't apply.

Besides I'm not making anything up about the sonic being the same as the current Aveo as hard as Chevrolet tries to ignore those ties in the U.S. after tainting the name with the older version which was shockingly bad to drive despite being a small hatch with a 5MT.

http://www.chevrolet.co.uk/cars/aveo/

The original Aveo was a very poor product, the newer one has a bit more Adam Opel in it and might not be quite so bad even if it was still developed by GM Korea and then built here as a CKD over in Lake Orion.

I'd imagine the power isn't quite enough for the street but I love the motocross riding position, thats what I grew up on and am most comfortable with.

I have no doubt I'll adapt to sport bike riding posture once I have more than 1 day to ride the bike before it needs a new motor, but as of today I'm more comfortable on a dirtbike.

Well I guess that means I was out of the loop on that part. In that case then it is what it is.

The newer one at least doesn't seem to be quite as badly designed or built which is a good thing. The original car had an awful numb, rubbery gear change that also vibrated like it would pop out of gear at any moment. Well at least the one they let us drive with 9000 or so miles on it. The other SOBs did kill the clutch on it in an afternoon, they did the same to at least one fiesta a year later at the dearborn proving grounds.

Hahaha. No seriously, it doesn't matter as long as the car is better than the old one and it was what he wanted. I just get a kick out of hearing stories about how the sonic is not an aveo from the media and other places.

Its like the Kia Sedona is also known as the Carnival, and the Grand Carnival in other markets.

Here the aveo is sold and marketed as a Sonic to try and build a new reputation.

GM has a history of destroying its small car name plates here in the states, Caviler, Cobalt, Vega, Monza, Chevette, etc....
