Is the only reason my co-worker got out of his. Wanted something easier to maintain. Got himself a brand new MK6 5dr GTI

I almost bought an S4 for $6200 but it clearly needed some work and would have cost me probably that much to get it running safely so I passed

its more like every 80k but he was close.

even the timing belt maintenance isn't bad compared to the thousands of dollars to replace failed turbos, new control arm bushings every 25k and waterpump failures.

brilliant cars, we want one for Courtney, but wicked costly to maintain.

gorgeous color! I'd drive the exact same one if it had the dove interior

It's not bad at all. I have all the paperwork on it and it had all the maintenance just done in Royal Oak at an Audi certified dealer/shop.

The guy gave me the keys and I threw it on a lift and inspected every single thing for like 45 minutes. Drove it 3 times, etc.

Valve cover gaskets, timing belt, clutch, all have been replaced recently with documents like 2-3 months ago. Everything checked out with it.

I *should* be good for a while with any maintenance related things
