hello gentleman...alright so here goes my rant to all the things you guys have said:

I will start out by saying all of the "no-low" stuff was my personal opinion...not saying you CAN'T do it, just saying i never would. When it comes to the pictures that you guys showed me, I THINK that they looks stupid, to the point where i think its laughable. I didn't mean that it is 100% stupid period to no matter who thinks about it.

The whole exhaust fiasco, that was because (as aku said) i had shitty cars in the past and every single one of them sounded like crap...that was my main worry. I have been chastized soo much for having "fart cans" and crappy sounding cars that putting a new one on a brand new car just didn't seem logical. That being said, now that i have, I would agree, it sounds amazing and i sometimes wish it was a bit louder. However, when you take your dad for a ride and he doesn't think its too loud...you know you aren't pissing off the community.

As for the wet panties boost comment, that actually did happen...and when i said i didn't care about what girls thought, i was more talking about the looks of a car. Like of course i don't want a rusty old piece of junk, but at the same time i've been told by girls it looks like i got my car out of a cereal box because of the huge spoiler and hood scoop. But its shit like that, that i don't care about. I like it, its an original STi, and I want to keep them. I personally think the STi is an engineering masterpiece (i'm aware there are better ones) but its in the top 10. That is why i bought it, it has been a dream car of mine for years, and I am finally able to own it.

Now I will let you all know, I am BRAND NEW to owning an actual nice car, along with that is me being brand new to have money to do stuff/mods to it. So i'm still learning about everything. That was kinda proven at the autocross. I went from a 1:32 to a 1:26 by the end of the day. It was my first time driving an AWD car at an autocross. So i still have a lot to learn, don't get me wrong.

Finally, I don't want everyone pissed at me for my personal opinion, it is my opinion and its what i think. I understand that "low" is pretty popular on this forum and i'm not saying i won't EVENTUALLY come around...but for now I do not agree with it. I'm sure there are engineering reasons for racing, however, I am not talking about race cars, and I have no intention of making my car a full out race car.

You are missing a few points.

You have argued that lowering a car will ruin/destroy parts and ultimately the vehicle.
You have argued that autocrossing is abusive to cars.

These points lead to the main issue people have, which is you treating your personal opinion as fact.

The difference between, "I think that is stupid" and "That is stupid."

Right...and i was not aware i was saying it like that, and i was apologizing for that. Also, I won't disagree that autocrossing can cause parts to break...any sort of more than normal driving can do that (especially with my car that is over 110k)...and lowering a car improperly will destroy parts...aka...just throwing springs on it without changing the shocks (if the springs are too low)

Now your getting it!

People who cut springs to slam there car are dumb and we all agree but if you invest the time and money and buy quality proper parts to drop a car then you can drive around slammed on your nuts all day and the only thing that will cause shit to break is running over rocks lol.

I'm glad you can at least see we aren't blowing smoke when we call you out on things. Just needed to get you to realize you sounded like a huge doucher talking out of his ass
