Hey guys,
2 questions for you all.
1) Anyone live in or around the Novi area? I'll be moving up there in the next couple months for a new job. It would be cool if someone was in the area to get to know and hang out with.
2) Has anyone worked on the Timing Belt and assembly? My SVTF just rolled over the 100K mile mark so I think that it's about time for that to happen. I'd prefer to do this myself, but if it's seriously complicated, I'd like to have someone help me with it.

A) there are lots of us in the area. We have Thursday meets in northville.

B) we know someone, but its cold out, so if you have a garage maybe. I'm sure ryan will chime in if he thinks the guy would,

Not in 4 high.
in 4 low it locks the diffs and can drive with 3 wheels.

3 wheels are not sufficient for me to take it through our test course adequately.

Work did a charity raffle and the 10 winning people get to ride in the Hummer and demo all our cool toys while I drive them through our test course. I dont feel comfortable manuevering the vehicle through the test course at speed with a broken axle with strangers in the back seat so we postponed until Hummer can be fixed

What Jordan said. Meets are Thursdays so you're more than welcome to join. If you have heat, space and beer I'm sure he'd be down. I'll shoot him a text

The key to getting a joy ride is being around at the right time.

Josh and Ben or maybe just Ben I can't recall....anyway they've both driven it. and when I got to take it home for my birthday I took my whole family for a ride in it after getting it stuck behind the VW dealership taking Tyler for a ride.
