I love my cars... but i can't afford the labor on either of them. so i do the work and spend good money on quality parts.

I know what you're trying to do, and i'm sure your techs are good, but the lot of us usually do our own work. you know what it's like.


klod, i saw a BBK for the miata made by brembo... new rotors, fixed calipers (4 piston front, 2 rear) and new rotors and pads for $2700 as a kit... stock brakes are fine thanks :P

remember centric is a stoptech brand... it's good shit for a good price.

just like how general is a continental brand.

also no drilled rotors unless the holes are cast in... otherwise it's a cracked rotor waiting to happen.

ATE makes good rotors too but usually more $$$

techs are okay, i make nothing from it. i still do my own brakes like svt last month. next time though i may just get them to do it since il pay like $20 in labor for both axles. svt was a bitch, st was easy. svt had had broken bleeder bolts.

Yea...........no. lol stock brakes are sufficient for 95% of all users.
