bottom line, i'm not doing a pillar pod, i don't like how they look, maybe for like focus's or civics but not for something like the STI, if you sat in one every day for a lot of the day it'd make more sense to you just it would look tacky compared to the rest of the car

I wonder if this can be done with the dogbone on the SVT http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/9...ion-mount.html
should be possible. thats a pretty common budget mod for vw's/bmws too

around $300+ taking a poll :) reply with quote of which one you like
if you're only using 1 gauge then get the one that only houses 1 gauge?
a 2 gauge pod with only 1 gauge will look retard.

Pillar Pods make the most sense for a daily driver because you are driving it all the time so you need/want those gauges where you can see them out of your peripheral constantly.

Steering column is 2nd most useful because at least when you are looking at the other gauges you can see the new gauges you've added. the only down side is they block the lower portion of other vital gauges so you're sort of shooting yourself in the foot.

Center mounted pods look cool but are least functional unless you specifically think to look over at them, which means looking away from the road which makes them basically pointless for a DD.

they'd be great for a racecar to have less vital gauges like temps/pressures etc. but they dont function great for a DD.

as a reference I've had all 3 styles so this is speaking from experience.
