Hence why I jumped on the fully loaded w/every option one, hehe.
My 3 options at the time of purchase were:
Used Saleen - $21k
Brand new super base ZX3 - whatever those were going for
and Fully Loaded SVT - 16k

And I looked at them in that order. The Saleen was too flashy for not having anything really done to the motor, the ZX3 was way too base for the price, and then as soon as I sat in the SVT I forgot the other two even existed. lol

just wait till the first ones start showing up in the used lot. Not only does it give you more time to save up for a down payment, but the monthly will be lower still from depreciation.

I paid 16k for my fully loaded SVTf (~$25k new) when it was less than 18 months old with 13k mi on it, and can't imagine having done it any other way.
It was still pristine, past the full break-in period, and still under warranty. win, win...and win.

Wonder what I could price out an ST for. May e-mail him just for shiggles.
How is it that the SVT Focus was $25k new?
Autotrader: "SVT versions are available in three-door hatchback ($18,590) and five-door hatchback ($19,090) models."

http://www.autotrader.com/research/a...ford-focus.jsp

Doesn't make sense lol. My friend bought a loaded one for $18k new. It was not $25K unless someone lied to you or the dealer screwed you in telling you that.

I get A plan from work so the sales lady told me it'd be about 25-26k for ST2, and I would put down at least $6k probably more so I have no idea what my payments would be

That's just an estimation based on the 23k window msrp sheets I've seen that didnt have all the extras. Also, those numbers that Auto Trader listed may be the base msrp, too. Prices do range from area to area as well, depending on anticipated warranty service costs, etc. who knows. I wasn't familiar with the SVTf til 2yrs after they stopped makign them.
Sounds like your friend got a hookup if he only paid 18K with <25mi on it.

Who had a 23k window sticker? My car was fully loaded every option, screaming yellow, and the window sticker was like $21k I think? I'll have to check it, I still have it at home somewhere.

I wish the ST fully loaded was $21k, I'd have one already!

Some guy in the ST section is claiming his friends SVTF ran high 13s with intake, and cat back, and a rear seat delete, that's it... LOLz.

I can run high 12's from my bedroom to the bathroom with just boxers and my cellphone for games.

why are 13's that impressive? SVT's are far faster than I am.
