Yeah, gotta have low for dd, especially in traffic jams on hot days. The AC drag on these engines is bad enough as is.

I'd love to just say eff it and get a new stroked block from Tom, but I need to finish rebuilding suspension and platform first.

Not trolling, just curious. Not at all familiar with the FSW tune.
They did not offer free updates when I purchased my tune. They are however a very highly respected business that supports the Focus community greatly.

Why not just make gobs of power on your block? Also what you doing to the suspension? I basically have done everything to a focus suspension. Including rebuild the entire rear half.

Because my block doesnt have the stroker kit and all the reinforcement that makes for epic badassery, and i dont have another car to drive while doing all that work to the engine.

As for suspension - I plan on replacing basically all of it plus adding chassis reinforcements
So...you're hired. We'll use your garage since mine doesnt exist right now. lol.

Chassis reinforcements? WTF?

You do realize this is not a 1983 mustang convertible, right?

This is one of the best handling platforms in stock and modified forms.

Do some research before you dive in with garble and jargon.

Also, my garage is expensive to leave stuff in and work. Ive got enough projects to work on.

Do the foci need chassis re-inforcements? i've not heard of people needing them.

also what suspension setup are you planning to run/use? no offense but you seem to want to spend money on all the wrong areas to improve your car........especially if its going to see very minimal track use.

Hello everyone. Some of you noticed that I am now engaged to Erin. Just a heads up, the wedding will be open invitation and whoever wants to come is invited. There is not going to be a reception though following, we gave ourselves too little time to plan one and cannot really afford it, but there will be cake and ice cream after. I know its a bit far for some of you to drive so I wouldn't be upset if you didnt feel like making the drive. The wedding is going to be the 29th of September this year. Thats the end of next month. And no she is not pregnant.
