Kyle go look at that 328 by your house.. since your closer. Tell me if it's even worth looking at based on exterior and interior condition (just a quick once over will do) Many thanks

the older 325's are 100-200# lighter but the 328's make a little more torque (not a ton more like say the difference between a d20/d23) so it really comes down to what you can find local/cheaply and without a sunroof (saves 50lbs) in Stock class there would be no preference. in STX you'd see a slight bump in power due to being able to put in a header/exhaust/tune on the 328i. in DSP you'd want a 325 shell with a 328 motor and 325 intake manifold, custom exhaust and obd1 325 ecu. at least those seem to be the hot setups at nationals but anything can be competitive locally.

p.s.
Sean just texted me. He just picked up hoosier rains so we'll have dedicated tires if it gets wet. also Aku: Gas (if we drove the racecar to nationals) round trip: $220 Hotel for 2 nights: $160 Food: $100 Entry Fee: $150 means next year we can go to nationals for $450 each.

Thats my thought.
hoosiers are so damn expensive though! $1250 for a set of 4 V710's are $1200 for a set of 4.......double the life, half the speed Also tires on the grape were corded (hoosiers are usually considered "dead" by the time they have half tread left)

Damn Hoosiers are expensive as
![]() ![]() ![]() for so little use... When I eventually go slicks I'm going V710 only until I feel the car is properly set up and magically get a job that pays me twice as much as I currently make
