The only real major mechanical things that needs to be done is timing belt (it still runs fine but it's due for a new one per regular maintenance) and a new blower motor for the a/c and heat.

It needs a new windshield but i'd take care of that through my insurance before I did anything with it.

Suspension and clutch were both done last year. And I just put in a reconditioned alternator (has a warranty). Rear brakes were done earlier this year and it has new drums. My mechanic told me the motor is solid as it comes.

Look, if you're really interested shoot me a pm and I'll give you the lowdown on everything it needs. Like I said. I hadn't decided what to do with it yet and was thinking about fixing it myself, but I'm a little leery of my very ADHD daughter learning how to drive on an MTX. I mean, she'll learn how to drive one eventually, but for the first year or so I want her driving an ATX.

I would definitely sell it cheap locally to a ff member.

Ryan already texted me about Brent doing the timing belt. its a 2.0 zetec so should be about the same.

I want it for me too tho...make it the DD and the stanced sedan can happen sooner...

OK. Just make sure you go over all the condition issues in the pm i sent so there are no surprises. I will get the windshield replaced on Friday and get her cleaned up so you can stop by this weekend.

I kept the car running, and kept up on maintenance, but after 150k miles I stopped caring about cosmetic stuff, and it shows.

I'll check and double check. But what I read shouldn't be a problem.
