boost feels deceptively fast.

my stock e36 325 was as fast as a stage 1 1.8t gti although it felt much slower.

Also this

For a while I thought the jetta felt quicker in stg II form than the G was.. But now that I know on a highway pull the G pulls on stg II+ 2.0T Audi's I know it was no way slower than my Jetta

Ummm, according to every magazine I've read, it states the 500 abarth weight right about this: 2,587-pound curb weight.

According to Car and Driver:

SVT Focus: 0-60 in 7.6 / 1/4 mile in 15.9
500 Abarth: 0-60 in 6.8 / 1/4 mile in 15.2

Also Aku's comment about the Audi, apples to apples a Jetta should walk the A4 with the same HP from a roll. AWD drivetrain loss.

edit:

Jetta Stg II 1.8T vs Stg II+ 2.0T.

235hp vs 280hp
270tq vs 325tq

even with the awd the audi should pull away hard

I'm saying apples to apples, I didn't know what year A4 you talk about.

Those are lies for a 2587 curb weight.....I have every spec for the fiat 500 in our system here that says the base fiat 500 weights 1440 kg (3174.657 lbs) and the manual abarth is 3255 lbs

damnit, i stand corrected, that is the GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight. meaning max weight it can handle) so you are probably correct.
