um.. I'm not sure tbh. I know you can't run 'M' helmets on track days but I don't remember of half face is ok or not.. I think as long as it's SA2010 you should be ok

in a car open face should be fine long as it's SA2010.

Double check with tracks just in case (the websites should have the safety regulations spelled out)

I've caught the bike bug. I think I'm gonna pick up a Ninja 500 after I get my new car. I need to take the basic class thing though because I've never rode a motorcycle of any sorts. Jake insists that I take the training course, he even said it's a lot of fun.

Honda is just a bar bike/lazy bike, prolly wont pass tech. Suicide shifting isnt very friendly.

I wanted a newer 250 because I just want to ride it to work and for cruising around. Jake and a few of my other friends with bikes said I wouldn't like it at all due to it being too slow. My friend had a 500 and he loved it said it was a great starter bike so that I guess is what I'm shooting for.

250s are uber slow. Like struggle bus above 70mph. (So good for Aku maybe? )

I think used 250's are great for complete newbs. Buy it used, drive it for a year or two, then sell for nearly same price as you bought it for. Buy real bike then.
