I have prolly 200 or so laps there.. A bunch in my old civic a bunch in the focus. And one time out each in the jetta and the G. Haven't been this year yet though..

I'm sure racer13 knows more but that's what I know from the brief period of time where i thought about building one (then realized it'd never see the street and that's part of what changed my requirements for my project) also compound shapes like that are a biotch to do nicely in carbon (or fiberglass or GRP, etc) especially when all the body work comes off in one or two pieces...

yup that basically DSR in a nutshell. There is actually very little aero restriction. Some DSRs actually create more downforce than they weigh, so theoretically they could drive upside down. You are 10000% correct about doing the compostie work, it is a major pain and also the reason why my car hasn't seen the track this year
