Go drive one, stock it was loads of fun. With intake, tune and exhaust it'll be awesome. I don't like the front of the RS, I don't care for rear disc brakes and it'll just be more money. I think one of the most important aspects of this car is its so cheap.

If you need room to transport random things the sedan is the sure winner, it's got trunk space for days.

GM tried out this new money saving technique on a few sonics a while back... they didn't install all the front brake pads!

man look at them saving money!

Sounds similar to what Klod and I were going to do until the slapped the extra insurance fees onto the total price of that deal which made it not really a deal at all...

Just looked at the sonics after hearing you guys talking about them.

given that the RS comes with no additional power, the only option is has I'd want would be the thicker steering wheel.

but for the additional $5-6k over a regular sonic i'd get the base one as well and then add my own wheels/suspension/seats/power adders. and still be under the price of a sonic RS but would be better in every way.

So you don't want rear discs? I like the idea of a smexy interior, the regular sonic is very spartan.

You'll be able to get the rear discs and put them on a regular sonic once the RS is released. To me they just don't matter, I'll never auto-x the car with an extreme seriousness so there's no point. I'm sure the drums work just fine in day to day life lol.
