Wrangler not a bad idea for a daily tbh. Hard top for winter.. softtop/no top for summer. Although I think I'd want the 4.0 for towing (assuming wranglers can tow shit)
No. Lol
I'm trying to minimize the amount of runs put on them between now and pro-solo. unless you are willing to go in 3rds with me and courtney on a brand new set of hoosiers and race the rest of the season on them I'd allow it.

I'm picking up a set of used Hoosier A6's at the pro-solo though........another .5" wider and 1" shorter plus stickier than the v710s........its going to be fast!

also also I'm pretty sure wranglers can tow....

How much would that run me if I went 1/3's with you and courtney?

Also invest in one of those water sprayer things to get all the greasyness off the tires. I borrowed Aumicks on sunday before my last run and sprayed the tires down and turned my best raw time of the day lol. Not sure if it really helped or not but I like to think so.

Troof.

Also 2500lbs isn't enough. If I get an SUV type vehicle it needs to tow at least 5klb so I can flat bed the G. Otherwise I'll get a good gas sipper/fun car and hitch up the G to tow trailer with tires/tools

Why do you need to tow the g if it is still road legal and you have 2 sets of tires. Just do a simple trailer build like Klod.

Plus whatever used tow vehicle you buy now, will ptolly be gone or not what you want to tow with when you are able to make g full on racecar.

Valid point.

My only real reasoning would be that if I got an SUV they milage isn't always the best on those and I would end up driving the G more often in the summer as opposed to a good gas milage daily and in which case I would just save the miles on the G buy towing it across the state for auto-x's that are more than like 20 minutes down the rd.

I dunno. I'm dumb/weird. I never NEED anything.

But yes odds are I'm going to just do a trailer set up and get a cheaper fun, good handling dd thats decent on gas and not an suv

Pick your poison.

Dunlop *Specs for the SSR's would run $1036
Hoosiers for the Stock wheels would run $1248

either way they'd be track only wheels/tires and the car gets the same PAX index (well within .001 so who cares)

edit: Jwill: Out of price range or I would... I know thats worse on gas than anything but I'd deal with it if I had a lightning lol

Ram SRT10 Done

Klod: so like $300.... pretty cheap deal.. except that I probably need that plus some for new rears on the G before end of summer. so I'll pass for this season
