I dislike eibach, think their dampers are a pile of manure.

Valid. Just saw cheap springs from a well known and respected company and got excited. The way Klod explained it as well as your comments make sense and even on the cheap arent worth picking em up when I know thats not the direction I plan on going with the car.

If those were for the ix then thats a different story since I don't track it

for me, eibach is the way to go (one of them at least) they're well respected, well engineered and they do sell race springs. other than drift events i don't know if i've ever seen tein anything on a competition car. i'd be glad to be proven wrong though.

just get a bad vibe from them for some weird reason.

EDFC < Koni yellows. if you're fiddling with the EDFC you're not driving hard enough.

EDIT: Given that sneeze isn't always a master of understanding (see the mystery sandwich maker debacle {love you})

please give me your understanding of this:

car runs and drives... so does that mean i get 2 EXTRA engines? or 2 engines total?
I'd guess at 2 means 1 in car 1 out of car.

their dampeners are probably re-badged racelands. they are regarded as 1 of the best spring manufacturers in the world though.

Ground control, Koni, TC Kline and various others all use eibach springs on their proprietary dampeners.

^^

thanks for the opinion... either way it's a sweet deal, two sets of rims means race tires!! :)

also you speak many truths...

don't buy dampers from a spring company and don't buy springs from a damper company...

never said i liked eibach dampers. they probably suck. but those crazy germans make some nice springs.

If the guy had said "comes with 2 extra motors" then it's clear you'd get 3 in total. But saying "It comes with 2 motors" makes me think one in car and spare. But hey better to think that and be wrong and get an extra than hope for 3 and only get 2 amirite?

Depends on the event.

Furrin events are like a $20 piece each for non members and $15 for members. Forget what membership actually costs but I need to get on that this week and register for the event (the opener is this weekend).

DSCCA events are $35 for members, if your not a member you need to pay $15 for weekend member ship but that $15 can be applied towards a membership which is $45 I believe.

Those are the only 2 groups I usually run with.

membership for SCCA is $60 if you're over 24. $45 if 24 and under.

you get $15 off from weekend events (up to 2) and another $15 if you're referred by a member.
