here's her (admittedly questionable) logic.
why not get a miata (she knows i want one) and not give wilhelm winter rims (the assumption being that i'd sell them or something) because a winter car needs to have heat. also because wilhelm "doesn't like the cold" (true story) i counter with the fact that i'm going to fix the heat in wilhelm anyways (stupid monovalve) but i say "sure i could totally drive a miata in the winter" just put the hard top on. tbh, if i bought a miata i'd use it for everything except road trips and cruising. for that wilhelm is a boss. but commuting in a miata, racing a miata, and dailying (as much as i can) in a miata makes a lot of sense. i can get into an NA for $2000... but that usually means high miles.... then again with 2 cars rebuilding a motor isn't an impossibility (just $$$$)

maybe she's realizing that she can't control me so she's better off with a happy timmeh than a pissed off one.
Timmeh's deb plan of the week! Stop by next week for an entirely different idea of what to do with Deb get deb, do minimum work to make running and driving (half-shafts, wiring, pressure plate bolt that snapped) then sell for $4-5k (hoping i can get that much) take THAT money and get a miata. profit. hoon.

Shipping to house is lazy cuz then you don't have to go to shipping area and carry to your car. It'll just be at your house for you..
