No.
How low are you going? you may need remove your sway bar.
If you have to ask how to grind down something you probably shouldn't be the one grinding anything

What a poor decision on my part. The suabru was probably still faster though. Had an hta68, pump, injectors, fmic etc. however the gti is on a whole other level in general, it's a much nicer car.

I need to shave about 2mm from out of the knuckle where the strut fits into it. Obviously the European foci are measured with Metric, so its a little off.
I didn't say I would be doing the grinding/Shaving Bradley, I'll have help, I just wanted to know.
Dont care what kevin has to say,
I asked what tool you need.
I think a dremel is too small
A grinding wheel is not right, so just help me.
Instead of making fun of me

the rear only drops another .7 brad, so The sway bar will be fine. Thanks for the heads up thou.

so your not going too low then?
a 28mm sway bar will cause you to ruin your rear control arms unless you run svt rear arms.

a grinding wheel is the generally accepted tool for taking that amount of material off....but then again whoevers helping you should already know that.

Still confused why you need to shave your knuckle....people go lower all the time without shaving the knuckle.

1. We had to grind the inside knuckle, the coil would not fit.
2. I removed helpers and cut the bump stop in half.
3. Took out the rear adjusters.

Everything went smooth :)

It rubs LIKE A BITCH with the stock6 spoke 205/55/16 et52.5 wheels, but I got 5mm spacers and it helped a little.

Rides good, yes stiff, very, but not as stiff as my Bilsteins. Im 21.9 inches of the ground, so 22" compared to 22.7 or whatever it was on the bilsteins, i forgot.

Pictures to follow.
also bradley cooperman yonkers-found this for you if you havent ever seen it

i miss your stock egg.
Also I did not know there was a difference between the svt rear control arms, and the regular lower control arms. Show me a picture? I can not find any on google
