as far as me moving out, you don't know the details of any of my living situations (in california or michigan) and it's none of your g business.

i think it's great that you got a TV and have a plan to pay it off before you move out, the use of a 0% credit card was wise because it won't cost you extra.

your original post said nothing about this, however, so i poked a little fun about getting a credit card when you're about to "not have any money"

Ed, Why would it hurt his credit? Just because he said it would be paid off soon doesn't mean he said he was going to cancel it.

Andrei, actually plasma tvs display the truest color and don't suffer from screen banding/jitter/flickering/tearing whatever you want to call it like LCD tvs. TV buffs actually prefer plasma over anything else. The only con to plasma is that it's the same or little darker in comparison to an LCD TV, and obviously much dimmer in comparison to an LED tv. LED tvs are a marketing gimic anyways it's just an LCD tv with an LED backlight instead of a cathode. The only point an LCD/LED tv can compare to a plasma is if you buy an extremely expensive 240Hz and even then because of the difference in the way the technologies work the plasma will still appear more smooth when watching a high quality source.
