most of those programs read in either C or F if it's C then of course your comp was going to turn itself off... most computer (and consumer) electronics are only rated up to 105 degrees C... i'd guess you have a cooling issue... have you tried opening the case and blowing out the dust with some canned air?

also run filters on your fans in the future so that you don't have this problem as often (plus cleaning filters is a LOT easier than cleaning the whole case)

does that count as working on your computer? i may have broken my own rule.
where are the best places to start looking for the vacuum leak on the svt? i wouldnt know where to even start. its always at idle, it sounds like it has a small cam lol.

and yes it runs richer when cold.

could the pcv valve need cleaning?

check the vacuum and IACV first.

if that doesn't work then ask around some more.

it sounds like you know some acronyms but don't fully understand how your PCV and IMRC work.

what you're doing is the effective equivalent of "my car doesn't work, must be the ECU"

i don't want to be insulting, but start with the SIMPLE things that are related to your problem (incorrect amount of air/fuel)

as far as the vacuum leak search for a vacuum diagram, or just go buy a haynes/chilton manual.

Spray some WD40 around the intake area to see if the engine revs up?

Morning all! Car made it to work. Rougher than usual on cold start. Idle gets a little better when engine warms for a bit.

Finally driving a boosted Dart 6 speed all day!!

Saw custom springs......ouch! you can get swift/eibach/bilstein custom springs for a lot less! Honestly I'll bet you could send whatever shocks you get into ground control and have them modify some of their existing coilover conversions for less than those custom springs.

me thinks if we can figure out stock spring rate and diameter we can find something off the shelf.

Mornings!

Klod, stop using your budget for timmys car. Its a 26 year old luxury cruiser, it doesnt need custom springs or dampers. It needs to be spruced up, not re-engineered.

Timmy be smart, dont buy all the things like you did when at apple.

I still stand with go stock springs and the hd dampers, if its too high, cut a coil, and keep the luxury barge cumfort.

i can understand... trust me i've had a lot of "WTF does THAT do" moments with the diesel.

all i'm saying is, as someone who has built a standalone ECU, developed a tune for it, and wired it up to an engine, I might have a clue or two.

not trying to be a dick but you need to start checking things before we just keep playing "what part is broken" bingo.

the mechanic might be able to but i'll bet you he's not supposed to. the manual will have one too. someone might have posted one on here too.
