odds are it'll end up just chilling in WF anyways... it makes a nice little reference. one of the better automotive books i've read.

as long as you learn something and the race car isn't held together with zip ties.

lol... we plan to beat the piss out of that car. I wouldn't trust zip-ties to hold anything together with the amount of thrashing this will see haha...

Lolz timmay forgets this isnt the first racecar I've every built.

I'm nice and familiar with what hardware we should consider threadlocking/wirelocking etc.

it's going to be setup to be driven hard and put away wet. no half ass stuff here when we start putting it together no fear!

Don't worry timmy... you were already budgeted in for wireing assistance lol. Klod and I can both hold are own for wiring but we know your have awesome knowledge and can make magical rely set ups for silly things and what not.

Dunno about klod but I like the silly on off on switch for the blinkers so I wanna keep that and make that work with the lights, and since we wante road legal we'll need to wire up tail/brake lights, head lights, and all that good stuff.

also kinda want these because hilarious

Not sure of a reason to switch to AN at this point. if the need arises mayhaps.

also yes SS brake lines are a given. new bushings and such throughout the car, new hardware as needed.

first step is just to get it running then start making tweaks once we have running/driving platform lol

my approach to building a racecar is get something that at least moves under its own power to keep the focus on whats important then once it works we'll start making it pretty/clean/awesome.

as you learned in your first project (deb) carbon fiber gauge holders and adding pretty spray paint dont really make for a successful project no matter how nice they look.

also I keep having to remind myself that we are building a budget auto-x toy/beater so that our DD's can stay nice. I dont expect it to be F1 style fit and finish, especially not the first season.
