Wilhelm is NOT a girl!!!

:P

but yes should've given him some loving last night...

oh wells... tonight i'll install the 24-hour timer and run the cable out to the heater so that he charges for like 2-4 hours everyday before i wake up

maybe run the trickle charger too for a few nights... just make sure his battery is well charged...

i'm going to look into high output alternators as well... the stocker only does 65A... i might be pulling more than that with the subs and all...

200W radio
900W amp for subs
+ ~50W+ for random interior and lighting crap...

lets call it 1200W....
@ 12 V that means i need...

100A.

hmmmm.......

that'd be worse case I assume?

surely your car isnt drawing that much powah typically. those amp/stereo numbers are max hits at full volume.

I'll agree that the 65a is probably pushing it with a heavy stereo but I'd think your still within operating limits.

also have been missing the diesel jetta lately......well missing the slammed ride and only filling up every 3 weeks as the bmw continues to suck through $60 in gas a week.

Why does the BMW eat some much gas?
