seafoam is meant to be used as a full engine cleaner...

so it's supposed to help clean out all the grossness that years of operation leave behind... i can only imagine what hides in a 26 year old diesel....

because it flat out works awesome

both myself and an OG member focusownerskid have done this on our cars and had actual chunks of gunk coming out of the oil pan when we drained the oil after seafoam.

I'm sure we aren't the only 2 that have experienced this either, the stuff really does a great job and I've found it to perform almost exactly as well as they claim when its used per the instructions.

also morning all!

I didn't feel much a difference on the Jetta. Seemed to be decently clean as it is. But I could a imagine feeling a huge difference on a car with many more miles and wasn't properly taken care of.

Its for the engine and fuel system.

You put 1 full can in the gas tank and that cleans out the tank and fuel lines and injectors.

You put 1/2 a can in the crank case (where you put oil in) and let it swish around the bottom end.

and 1/2 a can sucked up through a vacuum line so its goes through the intake and the valves and cleans up the combustion chamber (this one pours white smoke out the tail pipe haha)

edit:

Morning peoples.

Spiderman is Lulz. I'm debating buying studs for my tires, and installing them when I get to CO. Thoughts?

Wont' studs just eat up the road if there isn't snow on the road? and maybe i'm just being dumb but also seems like studs on pavement would be less traction.

If you know your going to be driving on snow/dirt 100% of the time then studs make sense I guess.
