Let me ask you guys something. When you are rocking snow tires, do you always rock the newest on the front? I do, and the tire people always bitch at me about it. I get it, there is a slight chance I could get into an oversteer situation, but I'd rather have the traction to not be stuck all the time.

Thoughts?

Yup thats what I do.

I'll run them, then the next winter I rotate so the ones that were on the back are now on the front (which should have more life in them with fwd car).

I rotated my snow tires twice during the winter so they were even no matter which 2 I had on front.

the PO didnt rotate the snow tires on the BMW ever so they are pretty unevenly worn.....that said I do have the better 2 on the rear as per the tire shops reccomendation.......of course......i'm doing it different than your car so my information is worthless. I'd rock the better pair on the front if I had a FWD car but then again I dont mind digging out of ditches if I wind up oversteering into one at some point

Well yeah the bimmer is a different story tho... I'm telling him I want to run snows with 70% tread left on the rear, and new ones on the front. I love how they act like you are going to spin out and go in a ditch instantly. I ran blizzaks on the front, and high po all seasons in the rear for two winters in chicago, and I never once had the back end come out, unless I wanted it to. That includes slamming on the brakes in snowing conditions from like 45mph, to a stop because of shitty chi traffic.

Plus I'm pretty sure the abs cuts the braking enough to negate any significant lock up under hard braking.

Seafoamed the Jetta last week. Did 1 can in gas tank and like 2/3 oil 1/3 vacuum system. Car bellowed white smoke like crazy haha. Fresh oil change and Stock suspension reinstalled for winter. All I need now are the snows that are coming in next weekish and I'll be ready to roll for this winter.

Also did a fresh oil change in the G and intalled my Adjustable cluch pedal bracket (makes the car so much nicer to drive). Was a good weekend for car moding/maintanence.

Side not, stock suspension/ride height with no front sway back makes for lots of lulz body roll haha

my favorite part of stage 2 with stock suspension is the way the car porpoises while under WOT
lean back, blow off valve, rock forward, lean back, blow off valve, lean forward

Ya basically lol

Haven't gone WOT yet since new suspension cuz only time I've drove it so far was too work (to tired in the morning to drive silly) and to lunch where I was in no big hurry lol

Will probably goof around on the way home
