got a few questions about the car audio scene there, might be moving there in a year. if/when i will be moving to the kalamazoo area but im willing to drive a ways to get to a show. anyways the questions are; for spl comps how do they do the class? i know here it is done by iasca rules so they divide classes buy total cone size. what class would 2 12"s put me in? if they do it by amp size what class would a 1500bd rockford amp put me in? last but not least, whats the most common/average score to see in the amuture classes? or if anyone knows what scores are seen in the class i would be placed?

I don't think anybody in the MI thread has ever competed in a car audio comp or show lol. I personally can't help you at all sorry lol.


on an unrelated note. Anybody have a suv/truck that can pull 3500lbs that I can borrow this weekend? I'll return it with a full tank.. and like 1300 more miles on the odo.....

well, if you find or know anyone that does give me a pm or send them myway. ive already got 3 2nd place and 2 1st place trophies and competing up here more this summer so will most likely be getting more this summer. looking to do the same down there. ive only been doing this for 2 years now next year will be my 3rd.

ive seen plenty of cars doing 12 sec 1/4 miles with comp winning systems. lol, yeah i know though. to each is own, was just hoping for some answers. actually planning on picking up a 93-96 240sx and turbo charging it. 300whp 14-16 psi, all around street beast. want it fast for weekends and bass booming for comps.
