Hey guys, does anyone know where I can get my car dyno'd for cheap around metro detroit? I don't want to tune, just want to do a few pulls to see where my car is at, before I install my new engine.

Try calling walsh motorsports in wixom. Or look for a dyno day thread on xceedspeed.

so, i was driving yesterday and sometimes when i was in 5th or 6th at around 2k rpms and i would try to accelerate, it just felt really weak. i mean sometimes i literally wouldn't go up in 6th gear. and then this burning smell was coming from the clutch area. it stopped doing it later on, but also in that same time period, my parking brake was like making this terrible creaking noise and the car would roll back maybe half an inch. now neither problem happens but any clue if those could be related?

I can almost guarentee that they are related. If your brakes are dragging it makes it terribly difficult for low torque engines to overcome it. When you come to a stop, does your car roll for a while or can you feel it drag?

i mean it would roll when i was like on an incline for no0t even half an inch. but the parking brake seems like too easy to lift now, theres not as much resistance.

I bet you burned through the pads. Make sure your ebrake assy isn't rusted and binding up, I pushed my ebrake in my old voyager and the rear tires stayed almost 100% locked up until I got under there and slammed the backing plate with a sledge hammer. My focus rolls freely for quite a long time.

Chaz sounds like the parking break could have been dragging. check the amount of pad left on the rear. Jack up the rear and make sue the rear wheels turn freely when the brake is fully released.

Were you running the defroster at all to defog the windshield? The defroster will turn on the A/C pump to help dry the air. You would definately notice the drag.

On another note, Does anyone have a flatscreen tv wall mount they dont need?
