Not yet. Waiting on 42DD's summer sale for their turbo-back. Should be around H20Fest time they said.

I work 10-3 on Saturday. What time will you be around afterwards?

Show ends around 4ish IIRC not really in any sort of hurry to get back as long as its not terribly late since we'll be waking up early for autox sunday at us131.

We may be taking in our body shop mgr's 2008 STI off lease. Silver, super clean. H&R springs I believe, otherwise bone stock. Otherwise we have nothing here.

Their turboback, probably catless, but I'm struggling with that. 3" all the way back, I know that. I like their design, it's all US made and fitment isn't an issue. I've heard of too many horror stories about eBay DPs, that saving the $$ isn't worth the hassle.

Shoot me a text or give me a call when you're leaving. It's way east of here at work I think? I can come that way or whatever.

Sounds good, will text saturday afternoon.

honestly I thought the 42DD catless was too loud for DD use, I think Aku agrees? it wasn't bad and I did like the sound overall but it was a touch noisy for those rare instances when I wanted a closer to stock cruising sound.

between the 3 setups I've spent any amount of time behind the wheel of I liked the 3" catless downpipe running through the stock exhaust the best out of all my setups.

then the 42dd setup and then my full ebay 3" setup none of them sounds bad and I prefer either of the full exhaust systems at WOT over just the downpipe but for DD livability the 3" dp still added enough turbo noise to be fun without raising the overall volume much.

I've heard clips of it, but no seat of the pants experience. I may go with the cat, would quiet things down a bit. I also thought about just going with the DP and stock exhaust as an option. I figure I have time to explore a bit, I'll get it figured out. I definitely do NOT want something that's going to drone. I'll err on the side of too quiet if I have to.

Newton's Laws of Hooning:

I. Every vehicle in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external policing force is applied to it.

II. The relationship between a vehicle's mass m, its acceleration a, and the applied force F is F = ma. The greater amounts of F=ma, the more likely a girl will state "F My A"

III. For every action there is an unequal opposite overreaction. See Australia's Anti-hooning laws.

IV. When in doubt...Donuts.
