Also along the lines of what Jeff was saying.
Really sit down and figure out what makes most sense. 1 summer really isnt that long to drive a boring car especially if you are getting G end of summer (which to me says August but YMMV)

you'll still have several months to drive the G before winter hits and you'll be so much further ahead money wise that next summer you can have super win G

is driving a WRX or R32 this summer really worth not being able to do a twin turbo on the G? (12k R over 6k focus = 6k wasted that could use to TT G)

The body has 145000

But replacement motor has 95.

I still say buy a focus and save more money for the g. Insurance will be cheaper esp after wreak goes on record which puts you in high risk.
Hell that's why I took off the sc. Kepping my car till it dies so I can get through school with as little bills as possible.

Then buy a newer car as a present to myself when done.

I just finished my "what it takes to put a 1.8t in a mk2 google doc.

Anybody want to take bets on whether I can finish this swap (finish meaning done enough to drive to the opposite side of the state) before Brian finishes Deb?

Im not gonna bet anymore. My dumb ass always loses. Im thinking next summer deb might go back under the knife depending how long conti keeps me on. I'll buy a beater if that's the case. Might be looking for a cheap stock focus. Also yes im stupid to mod deb anymore but im gonna do it anyway for pure ridiculousness and epic fun. Might be summer after next. Wanna do the rest of her mods right. Aka save money, buy all parts, drive beater, finish mod with money to spare,......,profit
