But the R wasn't about speed. It was about the car itself. AWD for winter awesomeness and sexy exhaust and I love how they look and what not. My fast fun mod car will be my brothers G when it becomes mine..

Plus I hate the ugly interior color of that focus...

But then again Stg 2 2.3L in the good looking body style is also major win....

DAMN! Just when I thought I was 100% mind made up about everything...
I'm just suspect of the paint.
has the car been re-painted or something? vw's dont usually peel like that.

Not a clue.

Still going to look at it on Sat regardless

Cheaper Insurance and spending the same amount on car + mods except over time is starting to sound like better idea....

even tho an R would be sweet...

actually that 04 2.3 your right, you can still put a stg.2 kit on it for almost the same price as the st, and its the sexy hatch :)

Yeah, but it has crappy interior, drum brakes, way less options, etc. So you have to add all that on too.

TR R32s are notorious for clear coat peel. There are tons of threads on it in the R32 sub forum on vortex. There is even a ''official'' thread with a list of members that have had this issue. Some claim that nearly 3 foot long sheets of clear have come off their cars while washing.

Can I just rewind to the day before SVT got smushed and leave work earlier so as not to meet up with that damn truck?

power doors/windows/locks are meh.

interior isnt that much worse and Aku has a svt laying around somewhere so I doubt rear drums are an issue either
