Thanks aku. And just take it from me. Don't do the 1.8T in the focus. My motor and my car are both ford. I don't even wanna know how hard it would be to put a vw powerplant in.

Aku there is an SVT near me that I have been looking at for awhile. It's rough but cheap. With your parts it could be a nice car, and still be a legit SVT.

Yeah true.. Would be sweet though.

I'd take my time and look at wiring diagrams and just try to match up all the wiring where needed.

Would just have to splice in body harness (for interior lights and junk) in to main harness. ECU and motor and all that would hopefully be swap in from jetta harness. At least that would be the idea.. feasibility is a different thing altogether lol

That's how I was gonna put the contour in remember? The hs tuning guys said the radio is tied into the ecu. Have fun moving that over.

Tuft Testing what?
http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...rear-8839.html

I cannot help but think that this car with my 245 R-comps on it would look like one pissed off lawnmower sounding vehicle.

p.s. the sideskirts are horrible!

oh yeah... damn you k-wire!

I would have stripped the car of everything down to shell and then put in all the wiring for engine to run on its own... meaning i'd replace steering column wiring and all (f u pats) and then for body side, splice in what i needed from focus

but i'd rather not go that route and just have my jetta be rebuilt.

Chaney. I assume andrei is referring to me. Sorry I brought my dramatic life in here but you guys are the best friends i have and really the only people I feel comfortable talking to. I can leave my drama off the thread if you'd like andrei or I can just leave the thread entirely. It's not like I contribute much anyways.

Brian you are a cool guy, the only thing you are missing is the self-realization that you are a cool guy.
