Was planning on just shortening the shaft length.

Thats what clayton did to his, with a similar shift knob, except his is just all chrome. Shift feels great and is pretty much exactly what I'm looking for, and its cheap. Yeah, I know its ghetto as hell to do it that way but w/e.

Don't have the funds for that knob i want anyway right now so i'm not touching that for a while.

His is stock, I am on snows, I have the CSVT wheels I ran last summer, but I don't think they'll be going back on in the spring, new things coming..

i dont have money for $150 for 1 year. especially if i change my degree and may not need it next year.
i need it to draw some stuff for my project. my version just said my limited life version just expired,

Your school should have solidworks on their Lab computers.
it sucks working in the lab but you've only got a couple weeks left so just deal with it

Also this is how I've spent the last 2 lunch breaks. Managed to calculate out and design a front suspension with 13" of travel and only 1* of camber change throughout (based on the shock's I want to use it actually has 14-16" of useable travel but I think 13" is about all I'll need.
Tomorrow I'm starting the steering.
