I love the snow drifting a few days of melting and a nice layer of ice really does the trick. What did you guys think of the new Focus unveiled at the auto show?

I like it, it's sporty and edgy, they should've kept the Hatch but i still like it... it's a car targeted towards the young Tuner crowd, i see a lot of performance and body mods comin out of it

Gonna run me $340 for the set and they're gonna be 17x7 i could go 18x7.5 but that wouldn't do very well when i add my suspension kit on it which is supposed to lower it 3/4" from stock, so i'm just gonna stay with the 17's

yeah man, personally i think 18's look too big on a focus. Too much wheel for too small of a car. But the price is awesome for such nice rims.

yea i'm pretty lucky to get the hook up... the next thing is i gotta figure out what rubber i want for them, essentially they're gonna be a summer wheel/tire so i gotta figure out what the best tire is for the car that allows it to handle extremely well on dry and wet ground

Hey guys, long time no post! I'm looking forward to a spring gtg already!

I'm looking for some info on exhausts & local muffler shops. I put my stock intake back on for winter and the car sounds so strangled that I now feel the need to upgrade the exhaust. I want as deep a tone as possible, with a little snarl - think WRX STi - and good power gains too. Anyone know of knowlegable shops in the area that can help me put together a custom setup? The only shop I know of offhand is at Joy & Lilley in Canton but they specialize in Flowmaster/F-body applications. They recommended I try Roush in Livonia... here's lookin at you, clwncar! Do you guys have a shop over there, or do you sell/install non-Roush parts? BTW, I'm pretty sure I see your car when I go to my buddy's place in Livonia. Do you live right off AnnArbor Tr west of 275?

Anyhow, let me know if you guys have any ideas. Thanks!

whats up bacarl! you and me both on that g2g.

as for exhaust you're probly gonna want to just order a setup, i've got Borla on my car and it's got a pretty deep throaty tone on the low R's and once it get up there it pretty much roars at you but i think that if you want power gains you're gonna have to change your header as well. i personally don't know any muffler shops around here but try some places like Livernois Motorsport on Gulley & Michigan Ave. they might be able to help ya out with what you should do, but pesonally you should just look into getting a full Cat-Back kit might even be less expensive too

I put on a full MBRP system, same tone as Borla for half the price. Got it installed at Muffler Daves in Wayne for $70 bucks, had no problems since.
