This has been my latest project. 1987 Yamaha FZ700

Started with this











New engine arrives last Wed.



Installed Thurs.



Started Fri



Now at this



$150 for the bike
$420 for the engine shipped from WA
$46 for oil, coolant, bolts, fuel filter and new petcock
------------------------------------------------------
$616 For a ride-able "Rat Rocket"

I run it through the touch less (with undercarriage sprayer) like every other week. And once in a while I'll pull in a bay and hose down the underside myself.

Not a bad deal, but totally not my style of bike.

It is also more streetfighter ish than rat. But price is right for two wheels as long as its safe.

I really need to finish lingering car stuff and get my bike on the ground again.
