procharger ???

So, i was gonna put a procharger on my svtf and so i figured that id get a comp/leakdown test. the leakdown came out alright but the comp test was pretty low. about 100psi or something. is this normal? would i have any issues putting the procharger on top of it?

Edit: Cyl1: 100 Cyl2: 105 Cyl3: 105 Cyl4: 105

Thoughts? suggestions?

Thanks ahead of time guys.

The indicated compression pressures are considered within specification if the lowest reading cylinder is at least 75 percent of the highest reading. Refer to the Compression Pressure Limit Chart.

Thing is guys, if you want to do a compression test, before you pay $100+ for a test, you can buy a halfway decent tester and do it yourself for that much money and have the tool if you ever want to do it again. Thats not the best gauge, but one thats good enough for the average comsumer for personal use.

cool... so 75% of 105 = 78.75.
So i should be good then cuz the 5psi difference is only like 4% difference

The engine should be tested at after its warmed up a bit. Im sure if you took it to a good shop it was done correctly, but those numbers seem low. You can try this also.:

If one or more cylinders reads low, squirt approximately one tablespoon of engine oil on top of the pistons in the low-reading cylinders. Repeat the compression pressure check on these cylinders.

Compression Test—Interpreting Compression Readings

If compression improves considerably, piston rings are faulty.
If compression does not improve, valves are sticking or seating incorrectly.
If two adjacent cylinders indicate low compression pressures and squirting oil on each piston does not increase compression, the head gasket may be leaking between cylinders. Engine oil or coolant in cylinders could result from this condition.
Use the compression pressure limit chart when checking cylinder compression so that the lowest reading is within 75 percent of the highest reading.
