Angry Broken...cheap crummy plastic

Putting a duffle bag into the back seat today, I managed to break the handle that allows you to fold the drives side seat all the way down. The bag just hit it and it snapped off at the base. Now I must take it to the dealership for a new seat(unless they can fix the origional).

A word of caution to all. Be careful witht this lever it didnt take much to break it. Kinda like the antenna base.

Your not the only one that I've heard this happen to. I forget who else had this problem but I remember someone else did.

Mine broke too, the metal "screw" that holds it to the seat broke. It was gonna cost $130 to replace it, cuz the part is rivited into the frame of the seat. I'm still trying to find a seat at a wrecker

Sounds to me like time to get a set of racing seats....

Why fix when you can upgrade

I don't understand!
The plastic part has a screw that holds it to the shaft. If the plastic handle broke, no big deal, replace the cheap handle. Did the metal shaft break? If the screw broke off, drill it out and re-tap it.
I must be missing something here!
