Car loses all DC power!

All the gauges max out, car then loses all DC power for 3-5 seconds then everything comes back on!

Dam thing is dangerous as hell at night when everything goes black!

I replaced both battery terminals, had the battery and alternator tested twice and both are fine!

Any ideas?????

They seem ok, I'm wondering if there is a main power relay that could be going bad...

Not sure where to look... Car is a stock 2001 four door...

Almost sounds like the battery cable recall problem.- Check the battery cables they maybe rubbing against each other and have worn through the insulation and are now shorting out.

Did you lose all DC power when it was going bad? It was tested ok...

I'm going to check the cables now...

Thanks for all the input, keep it coming :)
