You have a nice list of mods, unfort I'm sorry to say, I dont believe enough to kill a true GT. I have seen around here a plenty of look alike GT's, but dont worry, even a V6 Stang is a good kill. Props to you on your win.

First, let me say this, most 5 liter stangs are not 15 second cars, closer to high 14's bone stock. Second, if it was a 96-98 I could see it happening, I have seen some run low 16's at track, so if he didn't know how to drive I could see you winning, but don't count on beating gt's very often, cause 99 times out of 100 it shouldn't happen. good run BTW.

yes thea are some 5 liters that are quick but the pre 99 gts aren't all that fast so im sure it was a pre 99 gt or a v6 as most ppl said ... i ran my friends 5.0 and crushed him he has 4.10's installed .. the 99+ gts are pretty quick.. my friends 2002 Gt runs mid 13's at the track ive raced him from a roll and yeah i was winning for a full 1 second.. howd u manage to run a 16 at the track ? i ran a 15.3 at the track with my svt with just the steeda tri ax i didn't even go into the 16's my worst run was a 15.8 at 89mph...but u are correct 99% of the time Gt's will own u..but nice kill vassili

thats very good that you beat the stang with 4.10's, a buddy of mines high mile 87 GT with just 4.10's and a throttle body runs like a 14.4. Thats a hell of alot faster than a 15.3
