power steering leak!!!
Hi everyone I am new to this site, unfortunately for me I need help on my first visit.
Can anyone offer some advice? My 2002 Focus failed it's MOT during the week as it had a leak from the power steering pipe (the one from the cooler). I got a new O ring to put on, but when I undid the bolt, swivelled the retaining bracket around and tried to pull the pipe out it sheered off inside the steering rack!  I've been told today that this is common, but I am having trouble getting the small piece of aluminium out - it seems to be seezed solid.Any one got any bright ideas??
