I think we made a breakthrough! it's a perfect match, even the egr tube is there in the right place! I said earlier our engine is the 1998 escort one, which that piture & info matches too!

this is almost like instant messaging now! sweet!

all we need to do is figure out this last straw, and then buy the header and either switch the flange on the cat, or on the new header... i choose the cat!

it's so simple.

if we figure out which escort's swap into the focus I'll get the pacesetter for that year and a highflow cat and put on a new flange... then it's time to figure out why the zetec flex wont fit out cars... unless tin_maddog still makes SPI one. then save up for the MBRP

god hurry it up, send over the escort know it alls!

yeah I hear you, I want the MBRP so bad, and this makes me want it more : ) It's already my next large mod ...

---[edit below]---

how much does a high-flow cat cost? and what about the flange thing?

hmmm if someone walks around a junkyard and sees the 97-02 escort exhaust manifold grab it, it should only be what 10 or 20 bucks. then try to bolt it up. if you don't want to risk it, i'll pay for teh shipping and give it a try even though ive never taken it off before can't be too hard
