Who is driven by PERFORMANCE? Are you dedicated?

OK guys, heres the deal..alot of people on here post like 5 times, and its for stupid stuff, like, i want an intake, and how fast is it gonna make my car? what does my model focus run in the 1/4? (the question is, why dont you run it to find out)well, its not their fault, but, well, they want to make their car fast for 20 bucks, and show someone up, and thats not performance to me.

To me,Performance is taking whatever mode or method to get there quicker than the other guy. 1/8th mile, 1/4th mile, interstate, rally, autoX, drifting (lord, not in our cars i hope not). Who is a member here that cares about perrformance over looks, and is willing to spend too damned much for 5 hp gain? I am. Speak up. Let the Performance revolution Rise amongst the lame. Im not saying I do not care for looks, but I do want to know who is truly dedicated to their focus, and is willing to spend the extra 500 for maybe 5 hp? its performance isnt it? Speak up!!!

If you guys are truly performance minded, lets hear it. just a simple Yes, or I am, or hell yeah, that will work. if you wanna flame me for this, flame me, i probably wont respond back to the flames.\

Are you interested in performance?

Where is Pleasant Grove? I havn't had a chance to do upgrades, cuz dad wanted to wait till warranty goes out :-). For my graduation gift I told my dad to let me upgrade my car, so he said ya. So I just ordered my exhaust and CAI Sunday and I'm like a little kid the day before christmas. For the 2 years I had my car I have been saving up and I have about 5k in the bank under my car account so I plan on getting the FS turbo either this christmas when i come back from college or the summer break. I dont think I will do any sound, exterior because im trying to make a sleeper car :-).

For a long time, I wanted to drop the SHO V6 into my torquey little sedan, but that idea fell through when money issues quickly arose. Would I still do it if I had the money? A 220hp NA Focus sounds good to me.

Every day my car looks like its getting more run down cracked euro bumper, missing side skirt (fell/flew off at a 100mph), dings and scractches everywhere. Do I ever fix HELL NO I spend what little money I can spare on that next performance part (or the part that failed because it wore out lol).

I do without a doubt, but i do what i do for overall performance and for looks. Every car that we build (for the most part) is built for performance in ALL areas. But me personally, i go for how a car performs in every way. Looks is a by product of doing the work the right way and taking your time. We do, do work for people that want to be fast in just a straight line, but do offer the option of doing it for everything (cornering, braking, running, etc).
