rock on! if i can get this done, i'll have to start actually buying things to mod with :P

i've already done the shorty antenna (repainting it with a high gloss block though)
deleted the upper grill lights
faux stealth CAI
door lock lights
and i think a couple others that i read on the forums as well.

i've been lurking here for a few weeks but could never post (account activation issue) so it's good to finally join the fold.

My shop foreman kind of explained what should be done to do it, but we'll see if someone else on here thinks of a better/easier way.

Here's the wiring diagrams. I wrote down what our shop foreman suggested to do in order to achieve our goal. Perhaps someone will be able to think of something simpler and similar to the original fog light mod, by jumping relays instead of cutting wires.

DRL SYSTEM

FOG LAMPS

Those are just the first pages of the diagrams. If you need the rest, I'll have to scan them, but more than likely, it sounds like all the info for this should be on the first page.

Sorry I haven't gotten back for a while. I've been coding or the past 2 weeks so my brain's been mush

It looks like the diagram is saying to jump off of the DRL's wire at the light and run it down to the wire at the Fog light. looks like there's no relay for them though (just switches) so no really easy way to do the mod unless you make a T connector to plug in between your light (fog and headlamp) and the wiring harness.

anyone else taken a look at this yet?

My 05 has the "mod" stock, I can just drive with just my fog lights and driving lights on no problem.

hmmm, have you tried turning it to the running lights, then pulling it out for the fog lights.

actually, i'm trying to get the mod like you can do on the '04 and below, where it comes on automatically and stays on with the brights.

at the moment, they only come on with parking lights and with low beams.
