^^^ yeah that would be nice. I don't mind some of the cars Dodge has come out with (nostalgic remakes) but yeah, that would be very nice.....

I'm looking forward to seeing the Camaro once they bring that one back, if they are, can't remember.

The original US Rabbit was a POS. The dropped the name because of it's association with a lack of quality. I remember driving in a diesel model and out of nowhere the car would bog down and a plume of black smoke would start pouring out the exhaust. This was a common problem.

I love the origanal rabbits. I have a lot of friends with them. Do a 1.8t swap on one and you'll smoke anything! Check this out :http://videos.streetfire.net/search/...32378AD619.htm .

It looks like a nice car but would benefit very well from a tdi. The 2.0T in there doesn't sound like a bad option. Gas mileage in a car that small is certainly nothing to write home about either. Anybody else besides me have the urge to import a Rabbit from South Africa?

I had an 01 GTi with the VR6 and it was a POS. The timing chain guides failed and allowed the chain to jump with 11k on the odo. Crashed the valves, and cracked all 6 pistons. It was still under warrenty but I got hasseled the whole time. I lost alot of interest in the newer ones after that. I'm way more into the Mk1s and Mk2s.

I still have an 84 GTi with a BSI Racing 8v in it thats all hopped-up. I'm not sure of the whp but it will beat my 83 GTi with a 16v swap. Definatly a great autocross chassis.

If anyone has interest the 84 is for sale, I need the room.
